Perfect condition; Latest version with stepped attenuator, auricaps etc.; no remote.  Kara can fit one for $500.
Comes with stock pair of 6AH4 Single Triodes, RCA 6sn7 and for AC buyers I'll include my treasured Sylvania Gray Glass VT231. After a bit of tube comparison, I found this tube was perfect for this pre.

Only selling because I want to try a buffer/passive type pre with my new Burgess 300b mono's.  $1699 with VT231, plus shipping.  OBM.

Final Price Drop to SOLD

This is one of my favorite preamplifiers...shame to see it for sale. I haven't heard another pre that I would consider "better", only "different". Truly a top-tier piece of equipment. Best of luck.

I completely agree.  I've gone through a bit of gear to settle on the DeHavallind.  We have a new no buying before selling agreement in my house, so this has to go to finance my new buffer and phono amp.  Kara Chafee is also great to deal with.

you are making a big mistake, imo, buying another pre w/o having the opportunity to a-b w/what you already have, in your oen system.  your "rule" needs rewising, imo, to allow for buying, then selling whichever doesn't work out the best.
