Yes, all, THE Show pair of RM50s has been purchased and will soon be on their way to Birmingham Alabama.
While the Live versus Recorded performances were occuring, I was standing at the escalator directing people who were not aware to the VMPS/WyWires/AMPZILLA/Wyred4Sound ROOM.
I escorted a very nice southern gentleman in and suggested he take a nice center seat. After several live/recorded run throughs I walked back in and ask him how he liked it.
"Like it?" he said. . "I LOVED IT, What would it cost for the whole system?"
Never one to be shy about helping others enjoy VMPS, I grabbed a price sheet and wrote him a package. It was pretty expensive with the $17k RM50s and 4 AMPZILLA 2000 Second Edition Monoblocs @ $7500 pr = $15k
Anyhow we have kept in touch and he even flew to El Sobrante to audition them again with Big B.
So now we are starting PHASE ONE of assembling the system he heard in Vegas in Birmingham, and shortly the Show Pair of RM50s with a specially modded D-OXO will be packed up and loaded on the truck to the the "land of cotton".
The RM50s replace a very fine pair of large Apogee's. So now we have PHASE ONE almost complete, and are working on PHASE TWO.
