I'll say this is priced to move.  OK, yes there's some sun fading, but these are $20k speakers....in 1999 dollars, no less!  I had a (much) lesser pair of SF speakers and loved their delicate and musical sound.  I can only imagine how much better these must be.  You could have both these speakers refinished by an excellent craftsman and still stay under %25 of list.

Fantastic deal.  Good luck with the sale.

Killer deal.

SF cosmetics on this their top tier line is as good as money can buy.  Tasteful, not gaudy.  Got to admit the Italians know art!

I don't know how much double carton would cost.  Wonder if Sumiko would help find cartons?  It would take considerable time to properly pack these.  But you'd find a buyer quicker (obviously) if you could ship.

Maybe packing on a pallet is ideal...but someone I know who ships speakers a lot said one trucker removed the pallet to increase room on his truck, resulting in damaged speakers...but if they are properly insured maybe the risk is worth it.

There are few inquiring for the ads, it's a super deal.
150 lbs + (maybe 175 lbs) each is not easy task to ship without a custom box for it.
Thanks

I heard the first run of the Amati's finish has that problem. I would put them in a dark room.  It is the sound that matters. This truly a bargain!

I don't see these lasting very long.

Wow.  I don't think I've heard of a better deal ever.  Somebody is a lucky SOB.  I do believe those speakers, in good working order, will please.  Someone with my tastes in music especially.
