I have a new 55" plasma on the way and need a stand for it. Any suggestions on where to look for good value?

A stand to set it on with doors and drawers or a wall mount?

I just bought this stand for my Panasonic Plasma P55GT30 late last year. Its very sturdy, easy to put together, and its open all around so your eq can breath. The top shelf is rated for 155 lbs, middle shelf 50 lbs, and the bottom 75 lbs. The price went up a little since I paid 270.99 with free shipping. Just a suggestion. Good luck

Thanks, guys. I was looking at this: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=109&cp_id=10910&cs_id=1091001&p_id=7599&seq=1&format=2, but just decided to wall mount it for now. The plan now is to find a good cabinet maker to build me some cabinets for my 604E's, along w/ a matching stand for the tunes & blu-ray & either set the TV on it as well or just use the same wall mount.

I bought one at Costco that you could mount up to 60" for $150 after $50 rebate. Could placed center speaker as well as components on the 3 tier shelf. Could swivel the TV left and right and also mounted the Kinect on top with the small built on shelf.

Friend of mine got this wall mount for under $60 shipped: http://www.multimedianet.com/Mounts/Wall-mounts/Articulating-Wall-Mounts/Solidmounts-UADD-600-Dual-Arm-32-Extension-to-58-p22.html. He said he haggled a bit to get his price. YMMV.

Got mine at monoprice, $54, shipped: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10828&cs_id=1082806&p_id=6200&seq=1&format=2
Nice. The one my friend got has 32" extension, the Monoprice has 18" extension. Good assortment for those with differing needs.

I picked one up for $50 at an estate sale to support a 65" flat screen.  Not sure what it was used for originally (buffet? TV stand?) but it came with shelves and doors and was perfectly sized to support the TV.  I had to cut out the holes in the back for hookup access for the satellite receiver and Blu-ray players.

Here's the one I got. You can get it on Amazon for around $60-75.

I have an LCD TV, Samsung about 46". As an aside I have found from myself and other friends systems, that the LCD TV's work best under or up to 50", past 50" the plasma tv's shine.
