I'm a sucker for a cheap pair of name IEM's. I dig checking out the sound and buy them if they look cool...LOL. I bought some Alltec Lansing Backbeat plus IEM's the other day and received them today and the sound is every bit as good as a few other IEM's I own that were 8-10 times more expensive. Here is the ad I found in my mailbox the other day..check these out if your looking for inexpensive good sound from an IEM. The cable is a bit noisy though, but totally ok for sitting and relaxing.

Actually, they're closer to $9 

Every now and then Staples has the Skullcandy Ink'd on sale for $9.99. Picked up two pairs about a year ago and like them a lot for traveling (great isolation on airplanes) and exercising. Sound pretty darn good direct out from my iPod/iPad and even better through a portable amp.  They're going to bounce my Senns, Beyers and Koss PortaPros, but perfect for me when IEMs are needed and I don't want to worry about damaging or losing them.

My teenage boys go through headphones like Doritos and Hershey bars.  I gave up trying to keep them in upscale headphones a long time ago.  These IEMs from monoprice sound fuller and cleaner than the Skullcandy Ink'd I used to get and seem to hold up longer.  Not bad for less than $7 (since I buy a sixpack at a time).

I have found <$10 Sonys over the years to be the least irritating cheap headphones - before you guys came along, of course!

Not an Iem guy, but tried the Philips SHE3580. They're worth every penny..have Eq potential.

Found an excellent pair of Yamaha HP-2's for free . . . . in a closet . . . in a box . . . in my own house.  Forgot I had them.  Don't even remember how long I've had them
