Hi all,

I am trying to locate a McIntosh MA6800 or an MA6400 integrated amplifier in excellent working condition with the remote, equivalent to an 8/10 on Audiogon. I am willing to pay $1500 for either unit.

I am offering a Finders' Fee of $30 to anyone who can help me locate one of these amps, provided I am able to complete the purchase. Thank you for your help.

Have you tried the guys at Audio Classics on the East Coast?  Great guys and they always have SUPER clean used Mc stuff.

Excellent suggestion. I believe they are in Binghamton, N.Y. right down the street from the MacIntosh factory.

Thanks for your replies. I did try Audioclassics, but no luck. I am looking to purchase one of these amps to drive Vandersteen 3A Signature speakers.
