I went recently for the first time & really enjoyed David Robertson as the conductor. They are doing Led Zeppelin soon, that ought to be interesting.

I have attended a few concerts there.  For free....in the box seats.  Great experience.  But my favorite was, even though sitting far left and in the first balcony, watching....yes watching Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the Ring while they played the soundtrack....live.  They had the entire orchestra, plus an adult/youth choir and special singers for those high elf voices.  Really awesome and really haunting.  A girl across the aisle was crying during the credits.  And yes, they played and sang out the credits.  Would go see it again, but hope they bring the next movie in the series.
