Wretched Excess Dept.
Wasn't there a home rack mount CD player a few years ago that had a tube similarily displayed for one and all to view on it's front panel?

Dude THAT's awesome. It would go perfect with my Butler (hybrid) tube amp for the cab speakers.

Glad you guys like it!  :thumb:

There are currently a couple for sale on Ebay > HERE < (thanks Robin).

Boy....that sure is tempting. Especially the one for $499. It's fun to think about, but I doubt I'll to that one.

I just did a couple minutes reading up on this thing.  For anyone looking at the ebay auctions, there are two versions of this from what I was able to find out.  The -D version (Domestic, as in Japan) and the -W version (Worldwide, meaning everywhere else, like the USA).  Apparently, the -D version tuner only gets local radio stations in Japan, while the -W tuner is set up for everywhere else.

All this might be wrong, but I just wanted to throw out there what I read up on in case somebody stateside decides to go for it and ends up with something other than what they were looking for.

Good words Jonathon, thanks for looking out!  :thumb:

I also wonder what the specs are. Haven't seen too much in the way of numbers.
Also curious what tube it uses.

Either way, I doubt I'll get one, it's more of a curiosity.
