These sound absolutely awesome, Mark the tech in Canada which is the USA distributor for Tannoy said these Dual Concentrics are the best drivers Tannoy ever made! They are 101 db eff. and have a band with of 35hz-25khz, 187 lbs each. They Cost 16,000.00 + new, Sold , I just want them gone.

FYI the newer 215 DMT mk2 costs $8320.00. Do you have stands ? Interested, where are located ? Stock ? Modded ? Condition rating ? Age ?

These are stock, I am in Dallas, no stands, rating 7+, I got them from the guy who took them out of his studio not sure on age but judging from the drivers they could not have been used much and when I talked with Mark at Tannoy he said flat out this dual concentric kills the rest of them. I think the parts, drivers and xoer are worth much more. Let me know if you need anything else.

Rollo I just checked with the Tannoy USA Dist. And they said that price was each, hope that helps.

Can you describe the sound compared to the LS9s? I know what those would sound like so I have something to reference from?

What would you say the eff. is on them?

Do they throw a believable image?

Hey Ronny the eff. Is 101 db at 1 watt 2.83 V, these speakers completely disappear. Comparing them to the 9's would take a fair bit of time. Here are the basics, the Tannoy's are much more eff. 101 compared to 94, don't get me wrong both are good but the Tannoy's are silly eff. The Tannoys play noticeably higher. I have not heard a speaker as fast as the 9's short of a full horn system, so the 9's are faster to my ears. And of course the 9's throw a wall of sound. Hope that helps, just my opinions on my gear with my ears.

yes, efficiency is good - i have a pair of oris 150 horns sitting on top of modded klipsch lascala bass-bins. and there's no more room in my 1-room studio for another pair of large speakers.

someone is really gonna enjoy those tannoy's, me-thinks. i'd love to hear how they'd sound thru a deqx...

not that i wouldn't also wanna hear the ls-9's...
