This is a rare and made to last eternally it seems by the heavy duty industrial construction. The unit as is works pretty well, alignment is spot on. But it needs to be recapped/overhauled as there is some distortion when the music gets a bit intense.
All lights work. meters work. It comes with its original manual and schematics/parts list from REL/ I also have bought thru ebay a full set of NOS tubes for it and they are installed.
You will also get the set of tubes that came with the tuner, which I believe are still very strong, as I didnt notice that much of a difference when replaced. This is a superheterodyne broadcast receiver with tremendous pedigree.
This tuner was the predecessor to the incredible REL Precedent 646C
