New BDP-1 owner have question about MPOD
« on: 5 Feb 2012, 02:25 am »
new owner  to BDP-1  had  a  few questions.  :D

ripped all   my CD's  w/dbpoweramp,  and loaded them to a Seagate 500gb  HDD.

downloaded  apple   MPOD (ipod touch)   and connected w/BDP-1

all   music  shows up, But some cover art missing,  did i   forget a   setting ?

also  when  i choose  a album, and click  on first song it plays fine, but does not continue to next song on album? (is this normal setting w/mpod)

i have random/repeat  set  to off

sorry  for the questions, i'm still  a newbie when it comes to computer stuff

Thanks,
Dan

Can't answer art question but if you want the whole album played, you have to load the album into the "play list" not just the first track.  If you are doing that,  then someone higher up the MPOD knowledge "food chain" will respond. :>)

Hi Dan,

Album art is iffy at best so you probably have that right.

It should continue through the whole album though - when you load the album do all the songs show up in the Playlist?

Try the built in Bryston MINI and MINI 2 interfaces as well and see if they play OK.

James,

works good  in Max/mini/mini2

just reinstalled mpod  on ipod touch, working better  and works  fine (ipad in near future) :D

tried the android stuff, but the apple  app,   was a bit nicer  and worked better.

so   far,  what a joy,  and pleasure to listen to music in HiRez.   :thumb:

Thanks,
Dan

Make sure in your MPoD settings that the URL under Local Cover Art is  http://bryston-bdp-1.local/music

Also that the Cover Filename is Folder.jpg
