I am selling this beautiful amplifier I acquired here on AC a few weeks ago.  As you guys have probably noticed, I've been on a brute force mission to re-voice my system around new speakers.

This amp is a killer, it produces a sweet and emotional sound but is capable of rocking out as well.  This was going to be the amp I kept, until discovering my speakers responded unexpectedly well to approximately double the power.

$3650 retail new. Built in November 2007. Beautiful wooden faceplate. 8/10 on the Audiogon scale. This is a great 50 or 60 watt push pull amp that will work with 6550's, EL34's & KT88's.

This amp will come with the following tubes:
5 matched Shuguang KT88's
a set of 4 Tungsol 6550s
Pair of JJ 12au7's
Pair of EH 12at7's

Nice Fred.  Six weeks from now I'd snap that up and actually put together another system with bookshelf speakers.  Stretched too thin right now.

Since I sold my 845s and almost all other amps your really making restraint difficult.

It was a nice match, but I prefer the Rogue Cronus Magnum's presentation with this speaker.  The VR33s are polite in my opinion and need a kick in the pants/dash of adrenaline to satisfy me. 

The Bella is beautiful there and great for a lot of music and would be perfect with a less polite speaker.

In any event, its now sold!
