Beauty of this beast is, there are no FETs. Some contest it's bass has less slam but I find it has a more articulate, summation of LF tones. At this price, grab Mr Moore's updated output supply, and never look back. If you like defined bass, not the subwoofer-like distortion, I think you'll love the 41 guys. This DAC 41 rocks with Larry's power isolated USB cord, which also ups the ante of the earlier prior SE builds. Having one without the other, is a cup half full. This is a steal !! IMHO
