My speakers from day one (1992) in a non smoking home. These are bipolar towers that are tall so for me they require no stands. This week I received four new bass/mid drivers from DT and replaced them all at a cost of about $150. Tweeters sound good still so did not replace. The updated drivers/speakers sound great again. Looking for local pick up at $590.00 OBO. Have original boxes as well.

They look great for the age with some scratches in one top from having a rough bottomed bowl on it. Same speaker has a little paint missing from the base. Easy paint with gloss modeling paint. I can do it for you if you want.

Many pics to come. I will sell the DT C1 and DT BP2 rear surrounds (also bipolar)as well if someone wants to buy a HT in a box for $1000.  All 1992 as well and no sound problems. Will demo.

Family just watched Star Trek on Blu Ray and these still rock. But I am jonesing upgrading my analog system these days (Tekton Lores or GR N3's I am thinking). Will miss a killer home theater till I can replace it. Ahh the life of a low budget audio nut!

Thanks,
Ray

Scratches do not look as bad in person. Off angle they are not that visible.
