used pricing?

has anyone else noticed that used prices on agon are not exactly the "bargain" that they used to be? or have i just been unlucky in my browsing lately. it seems that more and more i look at an ad and someone is selling something used for about 90% of the NEW price?  :roll: i guess if the market will bear it... but seriously, are any of you out there really buying something that was 20K new for 18.75K used? why not just get it new at that point  :dunno:

I feel your pain... It's getting a bit loony. My favorite is when someone asks more for something used that you can find brand new and for less elsewhere.

I have a feeling there is a big difference between what stuff is listed for and what it actually sells for.

I just bought a preamp last week from someone on there, he was asking $1500 and I got him to take a substantially lower amount.
