I have the old drivers left from my rebuild on my ST/R's and I just can't help but think that someone may be able to use these. They are all still fully functional and cosmetically in great shape. These may be a good option for someone who can't afford to replace with all new drivers. I will only sell these in matched sets.

What level of upgrade did you perform on the ST/Rs? On mine, I went with TC woofers & PRs. Sounds better than the originals but requires more power to drive them. I have all tube amplifiers, puts out about 35 WPC combined. Not enough to play at my preferred listening level in my room. I am going to put the original 12" & your 15" megas back in the cabinets & leave the PRs, as-is. Hoping this will make them more efficient. I bought this pair new back in the early '90s. Been through many hi-end speakers since then but always kept going back to the VMPS. These are a testament to Big B's outstanding research, design & craftsmanship. Payment for the woofs are in the mail. Thanks again.

I completly went through mine. Replace all drivers from Brian, braced the cabinets thoroughly, did some finishing work and new stock crossovers. I used lambs wool in the mid enclosure. Overall its was money I feel well spent. I'm overly pleased with the results. I will never part with these speakers. I bought these directly from B back in 93. Drove over to Lafayette and picked them up. I have a Pioner SX1250 that I use on mine right now, which works great. I used to have a pair LLano mono amps (600 wpc) and a Sonic Frontiers pre which was pure bliss. I had the ST/R's and a pair of STIII on those together.    Here's a picture of mine.

Hey Fellas'

Just curious if anyone knows if these drivers would be an upgrade from the ones in my towers.  Mine are from around 91' according to Brian and have the inverted yellow dome tweeters in them.  Am I just seeing things, or do those mids have phase plugs?  Mine do not.

I'd be very interested in these if they may offer an improvement over what I've got.
