4b question
« on: 22 Jan 2012, 08:20 pm »
James..... just reading reviews (again) regarding the 4b squared. The writer said it has a single transformer. I thought the amp had two but in a stacked array( over and under) to save space and to help noise cancellation.  :dunno: Could you set me straight please. Thanks. :thumb:

"Dual mono block design" would mean 2 trannies! : :duh:.  Even thought they mean well, sometimes writers don't read the specs before writing the reviews, do they............  :slap:

They are run in parallel as one but are 2 transformer units due to the physical layout of the 7B being the same as a 4B.
