I have for sale an Air Tight ATC-1 full function vacuum tube preamp.  Condition is 8/10 as cosmetics on the top plate are not perfect as you can see in the photos.  Faceplate is perfect and functionally the preamp is stellar.  This has a built-in MM phono pre section that is quite well renowned for its excellence.  I have the original inner box but no other packaging is included.

Edit for questions: Tubes are Sovtek which is what it came with. Age of the preamp is unknown to me, purchased from another AC member approx. 2 years ago.  The preamp has no electrical or mechanical issues.

Apologies for the late response.  Good to hear from you, hope all is well with you and yours.  I'm doing fine despite the economy , although still recovering from the financial train wreck I suffered over the past couple of years due to surgeries in 2010 & 2011.  I have my health and that's more important.  I have been really satisfied with my current primary system and haven't been attacked by audio nervosa for a while now.  I'm working on selling the other gear I have so I can buy more vinyl as well repurpose some funds for home projects.

So, I sold the ATC-1 to a fellow in India named Vinay Arora and he's a good guy to deal with.  Has his own "agent" in the US so I didn't have to deal with international shipping or money issues.  Worked out well. (Hey, Vinay, if you are reading here's a precursor to that positive feedback I promised!)

Hey, if you know any one wanting a "vintage" solid-state kit I am selling my Rowland amp & preamp combo, a Model 5 and Coherent One Series II that are among the best SS I have ever owned.

Is your system static now?  I'm glad you recovered from the power module fiasco.  Just checked your gallery and saw you played around with a Nighthawk phono stage too.  I sold mine and got full return on my investment.  Frankly, I used the phono stage in the ATC-1 stand-alone and thought it was better.  Too bad the line section was so dull.

PS - Are you a menber at Audiogon?  I don't know if the system of feedback has changed radically but it used to allow posting whether the deal was made through the site or not, if you are a member I'll try to leave you positive feedback there.  If not maybe at the new US Audio Mart (same guys as Canuck Audio Mart) that is a free site.  Lots of positive buzz about it and I made a couple of good deals at the Canadian site in the past.

To all members of the audio community - I sold an expensive Air Tight ATC-1  preamp to this gentleman, who happens to be located in India, and he made this deal a smooth and perfect experience.  He has his own "agent" to take care of all shipping and payment within the United States.  I recieved a cashier's check drawn on Bank of America, deposited it, and he patiently waited for it to clear (you may not be aware of this but a cashier's check is treated like any other check and typically has a hold placed on the funds for 7 to 14 business days).  I then shipped the preamp, packed for international travel, to his agent in North Carolina for forwarding, at Vinay's expense, to India.  I only paid for shipping to NC (as agreed).  It was sent to Vinay and arrived in the condition I sent it in.  All parties are happy audiophiles.  Please feel confident that if you have occasion to deal with Mr. Arora you are dealing with well schooled individual who understands the intricacies of buying and selling high-end audio gear and the finer points of international dealings.

Again, I thank you, Vinay, for an excellent experience.  It could only be exceeded by hearing it in the system you have assembled.
