Well, the wife as you know prefers highly figured cherry. I have some very nice curly maple along with some  figured black walnut.  I would love to hear the bearclaw and bees wings pattern of my acoutic's soundboard though. :smoke:

What do you think woodpeckers and cavity nesters would do to the piece, create dropouts?

And a past wildfire, what would that sound like, a high-pitched hiss?
