Greeting everyone !!!

Can anyone suggest a cheapo high effecient 8" fullranger to mate with my onkenized Yamaha JA-3881 fifteen incher? (I will post some pics and spec later...) they are about 98 plus db...

FR suggestion can also be some lite cone coax whizzer type, nothing expensive, just needed a suitable driver for upper mid range in dipole mode... might have to combine a few to ups the sensitivity for each channel.

Would you suggest I go for a super tweeter or HF compress horn type?

In the classifieds here on AC, there is a person selling a couple of sets of Visaton b200 drivers, some with the phase plugs from Planet 10.

I ran those with a set of subs for 6 years, so I know they made me happy.

For what he is asking, depending on how far from Chicago you are, I would consider those for sure.

I never ran them with tweeters - with the phase plugs I never wanted for treble, and the off axis was good (to my ears).

Certainly worth consideration.
