This is an interest check for a Minimax Dac which Wayne of Bolder Cable worked his Level 1 magic on. The DAC is incredible and I haven't actually heard anything better, but I took a leap of faith and ordered a far more expensive Lampizator.
I think I was into this thing over $1600 and would hope to recover around $1200. I don't think any DAC at $1200 (Tranquility SE/EE DAC Plus/Ultra-41, etc.) could touch it...
Its just an interest check for now as I haven't gotten the Lamp, or even heard one yet, but a likely FS.
