I have some Sylvania 6SN7s. How do I tell if they are W?

Thanks! Spoke with a tube guy months ago about some VT-231 6SN7 and he said that my Sylvanias W are the best.

The tube will probably be stamped 6SN7W...its the Military specification I think (like JAN).

I've been buying nos 6SN7's lately, amongst a host of other tubes, and the JAN/Military versions sound good.  Beefy glass & internals, never bright or brittle sounding.

If you haven't tried new production tubes, like the TJ Full Music 6SN7, I recommend a demo at some point.
