Well, since you asked....

I spent most of a day listening to those guys, and there is not much that they do wrong.  I've yet to hear the perfect speaker, but those OB-7's are solid.  Good at everything that they do. Good luck with the sale.

Im not completely opposed to ship but would only be comfortable with freight using a pallet. Let me look into it, whats your zip? Any other ideas?

Bumping this for my bud Nick77.  I've spent several hours with these, and they are very good speakers.  They are built out nicely, and are clear as a bell.  I seriously think you'd have to spend 2X to get an equal quality.

Thanks Scott.....

Had a local AC guy come by for an audition to compare them to his $3500 Dynaudio speakers but felt it would be a laterial move, compliment but they are still here. :)

New price $1200   (kit price alone is over $1200)

These speakers will easily compete with any $3500 and up commercial speaker offering. The open baffle mids give them a very open and spacious soundstage. The bass with the XBL upgraded woofers is very tight and fast, I most often listen without subwoofer support so as to not degrade the bass quality.

The ribbon tweeter with Sonicap Teflon bypass produces an unrivaled clarity and the speaker as a whole is very resolute. The cabinets are very solid and built to Danny’s specifications with the 3% taper on bass cabinet with Norez and Acoustistuff and weigh approx. 85lbs each. The front baffle is 1.25" and while the cabinets are not perfect from the front they look like a million bucks. The kit alone cost over $1200 so the cabinets are essentially free.

I am unable to have any sound treatments in my room and while not mandatory a few treatments is best with open baffle. I will be returning to a box speaker design and hoping I don’t regret it.

I am lowering the price one last time in hopes of a sale, otherwise I will just sit back and enjoy!  8)
