Can anyone tell me what the benefits of Pure Vinyl are?  I know if you want to digitize your vinyl but what else?

It covers everything vinyl: playback, digitizing, editing, and archiving. It provides a lot of enhancements over other digitizing applications specific to vinyl. That said, if you have no need to play (using your computer) or archive vinyl, it offers no playback benefits over PM of digital files.

Besides just archiving vinyl it's great as a phono preamp for listening  -  along with a ProAudio interface, it can provide a less expensive alternative to a dedicated Low Output Moving Coil Phono Preamp.

That's how I use it 90% of the time - but, like Crimson said, if you don't need the vinyl aspect then Pure Music will do pretty much the same things as Pure Vinyl.
