SALE PENDING. For sale is a very special pair of JM Lab Micro Utopia speakers; these are the earlier, non Be tweeter version. Mine are a limited edition dark cherry wood (rather than the 'orangeish' wood finish more typical on Utopia's), and have been modded to replace all the wire/solder inside with Cardas silver wire and solder--this resulted in a very nice improvement, a smoother sound that eliminated the Micro's tendency to sound a bit peaky at times.
I won't have pics available for a couple of weeks, as I will be traveling, but can provide pics upon my return near the end of the month. Cosmetics are very good; I have the original boxes and also the hard speaker covers (they never stay on very well, and I never used them frankly). The tiny little wire 'diffraction' wire over the outside of one tweeter is broken (I think it could easily be superglued, I've never tried to repair); I simply move it in place and there is no performance problem resulting from this.
Asking price is a mere $1400, inclusive of shipping and paypal fees--these speakers retailed for over $6,000 when new. CONUS only please.
