Make sure and use only pristine pure water for a purer sound. Tap water will degrade the sound.

Looks like something a junior high student can make in ceramic class, oh, but wait, there are no such classes anymore since all the cuts in education!   :duh:

I thought it was an ash tray.  Or a special donut mold from the Food Network.

Was it cyro'd?

Record stabilizer is a MUST to get sharp music imaging & balanced tonal presentation. But USD450.00 is a pretty costly to own one irrespective of its claimed advantages, emitting negative ions to improve overall peformance of the record player, etc etc etc. Adding water in the ceramic stabilizere voids!!?? Fancy idea !!!!

FYI, I spent only USD44.87 for a 1lb weight stabilizer with aluminum alloy base & handcrafted wooden centre handle. It makes my LP music, both classical & pops, sounds better, sharper imaging & better tonal balance.

Sorry I can't afford 450 bucks!

Good idea, it would be great to have at a listening party. 33 1/3 shooters anyone?

Could be a nice ashtray for the smokers out there that get a bit too stressed out whilst setting up their cartridges.
