Has anyone ever added a headphone driver stage to a Clarinet?

I am putting together my Clarinet, finally, and I was thinking about building in a headphone output which would mean adding some sort of headphone driver stage in the cabinet.

Has anyone ever successfully added one to their Clarinet?

Thanks.

Not that this is what you want to hear, but I think a Castanet would be the driver stage you are looking for. With a Clarinet upstream, you could omit the volume control from the Castanet and would also be providing the Castanet with a little more drive, which may or may not be a requirement (depending on your choice of output transformers and headphones).

Thanks Brinkman, but yup, was not looking to add a large component to the system, looking more for a small headphone driver that I could add within the preamp enclosure I am building.
The Castanet, with all it's chokes and transformers, is pretty large.

I was thinking about adding a "cMoy" SS headphone amp to my Clarinet.  There are a couple companies out there selling boards for under $10.00.  I use this type of amp when I travel and it sounds really good for the price.

Came across this really cool looking project that could do as a headphone amp.  So cool to be using those miniature pentode tubes (in triode mode).  Just for the fun factor alone.  Uses low power too, so can be easily driven without loading down the power supply.
