I have a new Oppo 93 and I am considering getting one of the Nufocce boards, I do not know which one yet.
It is in break in mode, though I have watchedvarious movies and I really like it. I do not use this machine for my CD's but tried it and was still a little bit coarse sounding.
I have been reading about various mods for the Oppo players and it seems it is very important to them to modify the power supplis, especially the 93 which has a switching mode PS, and which according to these guys is a no no. They implement better caps and also replace the diodes, etc...
I was wondering why Nuforce does not mention anything about this aspect in their mods. I know there is a budget but would like to know if the other outfits are kind of exagerating their position on the PS bit..
