placeholders ?
« on: 26 Dec 2011, 11:13 pm »
The BDA-1 increases bit depth from 16 to 24 by adding 8 bits of non information called placeholders. I was wondering does the BCD-1 player do the same or is this only happening with the BDA-1 due to the extra processing. ? Perhaps James can say for certain. .....Thanks and Happy New Year to you all.

Thanks.  What's the best way to connect the cd to the bd for minimum jitter. I tend to want to use an xl type .  Any way  Happy New Year from Vancouver to you and the "James Gang" over in sunny Ont.   LOL :: :thumb: :

Yes  I will use the xlr as well. My dealer has it this way and it seems very good. :thumb:
