Hello everyone, selling my vintage marantz pm300 amp. I purchased it off audiogon from a person who restores old units.
Asking Price is 450.00 USd and that will include shipping within CONUS.
I will quote what the seller said as i can never say it as good, "the important electrolytic caps are non polar Blackgates (red caps) their best and then a standard Blackgate and Nichicon Muse KZ (their best) and N.M. non polar (green caps in front)and N.M. Gold, several audio resistors, Furutech pure solid copper wire w/Teflon insulation going to the Vampire binding posts, Philips Fast Slow Recovery power diodes, Auri stranded copper to the headphone jack and ESR wrapping. I even made the main power caps 2 x 10000uF which is many times what it was and I put a inrush limiter on the power(a new upgraded safety cap) switch and IEC to control the inrush. I put dampening material all over the inside of the frame and some more ESR paper on the transformer." The phono stage has also been completely recapped."
