Tempest Extreme: Good News, Bad News

Good evening all.

Good news: I spoke with Klaus this evening and my Tempest should be shipping back to me tomorrow with the full extreme mods. It should arrive at my door just in time for the weekend.

Bad news: I spoke with my supervisor and I am heading to Miami this weekend for a month so I will most likely only inspect the package for signs of UPS and will not likely have time to put the pre-amp back in my system.

It will be one long month.

My advice is to hang out at South Beach as much as you can and the month will just fly by.

mine mysteriously appeared last night

went to put garbage in the garage and it was there

i also found out those inline crossovers dont work(fmod)-bought some 70lp ones for my large sub and they ran at full range-heck i dont need them then if i wanted full range sub

mmm, Southbeach....good times, good times....

Southbeach has the record for the steepest cover charge I ever paid to get into a club. $80 (for just me) on Labor Day weekend. Then drinks were $10-15/pop and I didn't even get laid.

You will have to let me know the name of that club so I can steer clear of that establishment. Although, If you did not get laid, my wife would probably prefer I go to that club.

This kind of stuff always seems to happen. I ordered a BPT 2 ultra thinking that it would arrive in 2-4 weeks. Six weeks later it arrived on the same day as my in-laws

and I have to be "polite" and "socailize" with them so I can't install it until they leave. I'll be gladly taking them to the airport in 46 hours (yes, I am counting) and then I'll get to play with my new toy. However, I'd rather spend a month in Miami than 6 days with my wife's family. Enjoy the amp, it'll still be there when you get back.

You should have asked a couple weeks ago, I may have taken you up on that offer. However, now I will be home in another 2 weeks and it would probably not make it back to me on time. Always willing to help out my southern neighbors.
