HEY GANG, I WAS WONDERING. HOW IMPORTANT IS CAP SELECTION IN THE 250HZ RANGE? I AM WORKING ON A THREE WAY SETUP AND I WANT TO FIND ASOME CAPS FOR THE WOOFER SECTION. IT IS A 10 INCH AND WILL PLAY FROM 250HZ ON DOWN. I KNOW WHICH CAPS I WANT FOR THE REST OF THE FREQ RANGE BUT I NEED SOMETHING FOR THELOW END FREQ

caps key stuck?Capacitors always matter. However I'm curious just how you'll be using capacitors with a 10 inch woofer? A capacitor by itself is a "high pass." If you want to low pass the woofer, you need to use, will also need an inductor (choke).
