I only found this AudioCircle group last week!
Thought I would throw this out here and see what happens - I'm a 4+ year participant in the dixie Bottlehead group; we usually meet in Knoxville or Asheville but this month we will have the meeting at our house in Charlotte. People usually bring a few projects and we spend the afternoon swapping equipment around and discussing what to build next. A typical meeting will have between 8 and 15 people show up. We'll have vinyl and SACD front-ends available if you want to bring your own music.
So, if any of you guys are interested in coming out and meeting some interesting tube DIY folks, listening to some music, and drinking a few beers, drop me a line and I will pass on our location and contact info to you. (Sorry, it just feels strange posting our home address and phone here) We live near South Park Mall in South Charlotte.
