About 8 SACD's, love the quality on all of them. Grovenote samplier with alot of Jacintha is my favorite.

Probably have (give or take) about 300 SACDs, 65 DVD-As, 15 DADs, and probably about 6 (24bit) hi-rez downloads I use with the Squeezebox Touch. I usually wait and buy about a dozen (that I've been thinking about) right after the holidays each year and then a few sporadic ones throughout the year. At this point, I probably buy 15-25 every year.

Over 100 SACD's, just under 50 DVD-A's (although some are only 24/48), about 200 24-bit downloads, although sampling rates vary from 44.1 to 192.

About 100 SACD's, About 200 files ripped from my DVD-a collection and about another 50 high res files that I've purchased from Naim and HD tracks. About 50 LP's ripped to 24-192 as well. (mostly music matters Jazz 45's for convenience...)

60 pieces, either ripped from DVD or other type of disk and downloads from HD Tracks and a few other online stores or specific album sales via the artists website.
I love the clarity, the definition and heightened realism the format brings to listening...subtle some times and immediately obvious other times.

When you hear a real good one -- my 1st was "Gaucho" by Steely Dan from HD Tracks -- your hooked!!!!

About 500 DSD discs, a few hundred downloads, but no DVDA.

The downloads are recent, within the past two years or so.

Hi-res forever.

(No, vinyl with its limited bandwidth and frequency extension is not hi-res).

About 400 (conservative estimate) SACDs, 50 DVD-A, 50+ HD Tracks downloads. At this rate, I'm still buying 20-25 SACDs a year at least...and still downloading 24/96 and 24/192 (as you might have guessed).

I might add that I see that doubling this next year... I have a feeling this will be the year of Hirez growth -- gaining in users and media.

About a dozen complete albums. Many of them sound excellent, but still not sure an awesome NOS DAC isn't the way to go.
