None on Vinyl.

Only about 5 if you count CDs. I guess I need to collect a few more.

40 out of the first 100. I was dropping off at the end so I didn't go past 100 on the list.

Didn't look at all but I have several, I'm sure.  This on the list?

About 49 on vinyl.

My list would eliminate multiple albums by the same artist and add (on vinyl)

Steeleye Span
Steve Winwood
Ten Years After
Fleetwood Mac - Kiln House
King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King
Mott the Hoople
Savoy Brown
Shadowfax
Sopwith Camel
Joe Walsh - before joining the Eagles

to name just a few.

About 30 of them on vinyl...and I sold my vinyl a few years ago.
Many, probably another 50 of them I owned at one time but haven't a clue where they got off to.
More than half on cd now.
I think I'm a psychedelic freak. Now, who remembers the psychedelic enhancers they ingested to get the full effect? Oh the memories.

My list would be a lot different. I went through the list and counted 115 I do not have and of those I can comfortably say I have zero interest in acquiring at least 80 of those. Funkadelic??? Give me a break, I would rather :banghead:. I would like to find more of The Move, Small Faces, 13th Floor Elevators and The Nice on LP. I have heard of but am unfamiliar with Captain Beefheart, H.P. Lovecraft and Family, so would be interested in hearing them. I have never heard of Gong, David Axlerod, Tomorrow, Clear LIght or Silver Apples. I have no interest in T-Rex, Sly or Donovan (in addition to Funkadelic). Two Hendrix albums are enough for me and I gave up on the Monkees after the 2d album.

I guess anybody can make a list. Several bands not on the list, as well as several that shouldn't be on the list.

Where would Ten Years After fit in, or Camel or FM? Alan Parsons was starting to crank out some LPs, at this time too. No Genesis? No ELP or King Crimson?

I would bet an ELP album (well used) that the youngster who made the list was born after the psychedelic era ended. Music lovers of a certain age don't need a list of the best albums, we already know who the best bands are and have had their albums in our collection since 1964.

This is not fair - The 60's are a little before my time  :icon_twisted:

I continue to dip my toe in the water though and the count is slowly rising.

In the top 100 I see I have about 12 on vinyl and a further 5 on CD.

When it comes to Psychedelia - Hawkwind are my turn to band - not in the top 100 though

I count 25 or 26 right off the top of my head, and have several others that should have been in that same group. I find it hard to believe that Country Joe and a few others were even added into that group. Yet many others were left out. Was really surprised to see the Buddy Miles/ Sanatana LP in the mix! That LP really smokes. Also only one Tangerine Dream LP? I must own six or eight, and all are pretty good recordings. No Canned Heat or Hot Tuna??? Ten Years After?? If you got the Beach Boys in there, then why no Joe Cocker?

17 within the first 100, but I have probably heard and gotten rid of about 15-20 more because I didn't care for them personally. Only about 3-4 within the second hundred (101-200).
