guys......you need to audition these, more focused and detailed than SE, IMO...the DAC 41 is built by the guy who built the dB Audio Tranquility.....open it up and see the PC board for yourself....this is Moore's last and consummate iteration for NOS... don't be fooled by this single wrapped power isolated usb cord... a hugh upgrade...esp at this price and one ups your Tranquility sound....cord alone is well worth half this asking price !!

why does it have a power cord? Isn't the USB supposed to power it?

I read great things online about this unit...Now that my McIntosh CDP took a dive...i am wondering about this.

I can also testify to the performance of this DAC.  I have not heard the (prior) Tranquilities, but it is hard to imagine redbook digital (actually ANY digital) getting much better.

That's with a tweaked 2011 Mini & the Moore USB cable.
