Due to the weight and size of this beast, I'd prefer to conduct a local sale, if possible. However, I won't rule out shipping, if it truly comes down to it. But, from recent experience, a receiver of this size with FedEx Ground rates and insurance, it could run $50.00 to get it to California.
Here's what I have for sale:
Yamaha RX-V1600 7.1 Home Theater Receiver
- Used only in a non-smoking home.
- The receiver is as pristine as the day it was removed from the box.
- Original box is included.
- Both remotes are included (main remote and 2nd zone remote) - both in "as new" condition.
- Setup microphone included.
- Original paper user manual is present.
I just don't use this for movies very much anymore. I would watch 1 or 2 movies a month on average. My wife and daughter didn't like the surround sound, so they would just play the DVD sound through the television speakers.
I figure there might be someone out there who's looking for a great, dependable receiver in great condition and could save some $$ as opposed to getting the latest and greatest form Yamaha for $1,000++.
