Up for sale is an assortment of tubes.
First up is a set of 4 EL84 power tubes. These are Mallard remakes, labeled “Made in Russia”. I bought these new about a year ago, and used them in a Jolida 102B amp in my home office (with great results). They are used, but in good condition.
Next up is a set of 5 Groove Tube 12AX7-M tubes. These are a re-issue of the classic Mullard 12AX7 tube. I used a couple of these in my Jolida 102B, but the others are NOS.
Next up is an assortment of tubes from an old GE repair kit. I scored this assortment from a yard sale organized by a group of local pickers. Among the various items they had was an interesting old metal toolbox with an embossed label that read “General Electric Tubes.” It was filled with a wide variety of tubes - mostly GE and Tung-Sol labels, but also RCA, Sylvania, and Zenith. It seems to be a standard repair kit. I snagged some of the tubes for my personal stash, but I am offering the rest of them to my fellow hobbyists on Audiogon and Audiocircle. Most of these are probably not of interest to the audiophile, but you never know. A snap shot of the collection attached. (Send me an email if you want more pictures).
Lastly, I will include an additional pair of 12AX7 tubes. These are marked with the Melody label, and are leftovers from when I had an Onix SP3. These tubes are used, but are in good condition.
Asking $150 for the collection, including paypal fees and shipping in the CONUS.
P.S. This price is for the tubes only. Add an additional $20 if you want the metal GE toolbox.
