Great Sunday afternoon / evening music!
« on: 4 Dec 2011, 09:14 pm »
Hi all, a friend of mine (Steve Gossett) Has an Internet radio show with some of the best music you have either never or seldom heard. It is today at 6 CST here is his email regarding today's show.  If you enjoy it log on to the chat and get your name on the email list.

"I happened to pick up the new Rolling Stone mag on Friday, because it's the semi-annual 100 Best Guitarists of All-Time issue.  I haven't read any issues of RS in many years.  It has become way too "People"-like for my tastes.  Anyway, after reading the list, and attendant mini essays, I started thinking
about all the worthy players not on the list.  Certainly there are many opinions about lists like these, and they have to leave some very deserving folks off the final list.  And, maybe some folks shouldn't have made the list...  But, of course, that's why they publish top 100 lists, to get dialogue going.  So, today,
we'll be doing the Not-On-The-List Guitar Slingers.  I think you'll like it.  Here's the link:

Same Bat Time, same Bat Channel  (6:00CST, 4:00PST, 7:00EST, etc.)  Again,
thanks for listening...  Oh, and my "Best of 2011" 2 part show will kick off next week, on the 11th.  And, of course, the Doctor's Office will be open on Christmas Night.  Hope my headphones will fit over my Santa hat.

Approximately 30 minutes to show time :thumb:  I wanted to add this is in noway a commercial enterprise, no commercials, sponsors etc.  It's kinda of an underground thing.

Got the system warming up while I finish watching me some NFL.  Come on G-men!!  Think I'll listen to some CD's for a change around this one Wagner album I'm itching to hear.

Hey all,

It's that time of the week again.  Another appointment at the Doctor's Office.  Time for your boogie-woogie flu shot.  You know what I'm talking about.  Well, last week I mentioned that I would kick off my "Best of 2011" 2 week mini-series today, but I decided to compress it all into 1 week, and will do that show NEXT Sunday (the 18th), followed by my Xmas Xtravaganza on the actual day.  So, you're asking, what about this week's show??  I'm getting to that.  Today, I'll be busting out the "Girlstuff Vol. 1" show that I was going to broadcast a few weeks ago, but due to tech difficulties, had to postpone.  Again, it will be at the same Bat time, same Bat channel.  6:00pm CST (4:00 PST, 7:00EST) is the start time.  Here's the girlie link:

Again, thanks for listening.
