Wow Joe, you just sent me into permanent flashback!! My best friend in high school dropped out to play with Bittersweet. I remember Free Enterprise playing dances at Magdalene on south Kingshighway. The Aardvarks, Full Moon Consort, the Guise--somebody give me a hit...

I have TOO MANY memories of this time, I must have had lame sheet. Really, I know more people in bands on the forementioned site, and I'd like to include one or two of my old bands Max Load (first punk rock band from Belleville, 1978) and Anti-Mation (another Fun 100 band from STL from the early 80's, playing December 23rd at Off Broadway for The Retros record release party, not to be missed).

Wow, Joe, thanks!  I hadn't been to that site before, never took the time.  Sheesh, the people and places...  Had friends work the Grainery and Stonehenge....  just took a look at a band called 'The Sheiks' and I had a whole troop of braincells get brought out of retirement!

Really, thanks for the tip!  I'll spend more time there!

BEST regards,
DeadFish
