Aragon 24K preamp in good condition with IPS external power supply and Swiss made Penny and Giles potentiometer.  Everything works without any issues and many people feel the P&G pot on this preamp is one of the best.  Very balanced presentation with solid bass and silky highs.  This is the model without the phono preamp.  Very solidly built and good sounding preamp.  Two sets of outputs and several inputs.

Here is a picture of the Penny and Giles volume control in this preamp (the picture is stock but it's the one used).  Penny and Giles were used a lot in high end mixing panels and they are offered as a $750 option as a volume control on Wavelength gear.  These are regarded by many as the best volume control ever made and were very expensive.  It is very large and I believe oil filled.  I would have installed it in my current preamp but it will not fit due to the large size of the P&G control.

The P&G is a work of art and is completely silent.  I belive that canister is filled with oil or some kind of thick fluid.  When you adjust the volume it has a nice resistance, like it is filled with a viscous fluid.  If I was handy, I would have scavenged it and installed it in my preamp, but I want to keep the Aragon intact and original.  Hopefully, someone will enjoy this preamp for years to come.

Bump.  This is a really good sounding preamp for a low price.  It has two sets of outputs if you are biamping or using one set for your subs.  Also, it's built like a tank. You could literally drive a car over this thing but I would not advise it. You would scratch the case.

I decided to use a tube preamp and its time for someone else to enjoy this one. The Penny and Giles Pot is excellent.

The Aragon is still available.  I just installed it in my system and I sounds great. Silent background and the P&G Pot is probably worth more than my asking price.  It has has two sets of outputs so you can run dual subs using this preamp.  It also has the upgraded external power supply.  For the money, this is an excellent preamp and a bargain.
