Are you referring to Cinema and Sound or are there AC members with VMPS setups in the Chicagoland area?

That's who I was reffering to, but maybe Larry has a better idea......

Hi ,

Yes, I did not want the cat out of the bag yet. Sorry , I am with my kids now but Brian just sent me some samples and I will detail later what I will carry. The RM-30's will be here. Still finishing the room.

I am blocks from Wrigley.

I will give more information later . Sorry,

Larry

....a number of my audiophile buddies have commenting that the RM40's were the most invisible large speakers they had ever heard....

The best speaker I have ever heard in terms of imaging had very large baffles... When I first sat down to listen to them I thought:

"holy hell look at the size of the baffles!"

but within seconds i was thinking:

    "wow its like im there!"

This has led me to believe that baffle size plays less a role than people think it does.  Its more in the matching of the speakers, placement, quality of the signal getting to each driver.  (and the signal itself, obviously)

The baffle is being used too much for marketing purposes.  More important is above. (in general terms)

:)  I wouldnt have agreed with me 6 months ago either.
