My early reactions to the Tempestas were partially based on lack of break in. They changed a lot at around 80-100 hours, with the top end opening up markedly.

This quote is dead on and it counts for a lot, IMO.
Rick suggested some minor xover changes to suit my tastes, room and equipment matchups once the speakers were in house. I ended up with very small changes from the original values. The mids and tweets are now almost imperceptably louder than the original tuning. I think the top end is as close to perfect as I've ever heard.
Your tastes, room, and equipment will match up differently than mine, so my reactions really don't give you a lot of help, but Rick is a great resource to get that last 2% out of them.
