Vinyl display stand

Hi folks,

My Google skills seem to have failed me in my search for this, but I am looking for a stand I can use to prop up and display the cardboard sleeve of the record I am currently playing, and didn't have much luck turning something up.

Any recs either, designed specifically for this or repurposed from elsewhere?

Ah, the mother of invention. I'd suggest making one. It would be nice to be made from one part (formed polycarbonate, heat formed acrylic), have about a 5-10° tilt-back and be able to accept a triple LP.

4 rubber stick-on feet on the bottom. Sell if for $24.95.

Made a stand today out of some 3/4 x 3/4 x 1/16 aluminum straight angle. I put a 15° tilt to it, but if I made it over, I'd put a 20° tilt to it, tho it is OK.

The bottom and upright is 1 piece that I mitered to get the slope that I wanted, then I simply formed it over. The bottom leg is 6", the vertical rail is 10". The cross piece that serves double duty, buy joining the two sides and acting as the album jacket rest is 7" long.

4 rubber stick-on feet keep the aluminum from scratching anything.

Beauty Wayner.

Grabbed a business card holder at Office Depot that I thought might work. Nope, on to book holders perhaps. I would be propping up the albums in front of a TV, so needs to be no more than 4" or so high, so as to not block the screen. Many thanks for all the suggestions folks.

If I had Woodsyi's vinyl display stand, I still wouldn't be looking at the vinyl art work.....

you use a cardboard sleeve.....yuk, unless you meant to say 'jacket' , in which case it should be fondled in your lap while listening !! ......
