The Prisoner (old show w/Patrick Mcgoohan
La Femme Nikita (spin off of the movie, 1st season kinda sucked, seasons 2-5 kicked serious ass)
24 (the creators of this show are also the creative team for La Femme Nikita - too bad the Kim character wasn't on Nikita, she needs to be killed, and the head of Section 1 would have cancelled her long ago)
Buffy (well, from season 3 on)
Angel (again, only from season 3 on)
CSI Miami (love David Caruso, he brings a gravitas to the show that it probably doesn't really earn)
Babylon 5 (pretty crappy production values, but interesting story arcs)
Alias (Nikita's spunky kid-sister-show, not nearly as dark or morally ambiguous as Nikita, but more kinetic and fun to watch in a mindless kinda way)

Hmmm...current shows? That leaves out most of my favorites: B5, Star Trek TNG, Buffy, Farscape, & Lexx. Of current shows I'd list Andromeda as one I never miss, and I like ER, too. There's a couple of comedies I catch if I'm home but I always tape Andromeda & ER. Not much else interests me as far as regular shows but I do watch a lot of History, TLC & Discovery along with Tech TV.

I'm surprised at how many guys here like "Good eats"
I thought I was the only one... AB kicks serious booty!
As for other shows:
2) Real Time with Bill Maher (F'in ROCKS!!)
3) Deadwood
4) DIY cooking, gardening, landscaping shows
5) Science, History, Discovery channels

The only show I try to make a point to watch is The Amazing Race. I love to travel, but with two young kids under the age of 3, travel has been limited...this show is really the best reality show out there IMHO, specifically because it doesn't go for shock value...it is really about a race around the world with cool challenges and interesting people.
Was into 24 the first two seasons, but it's lost its shimmer a little IMHO
Saw the first two episodes of the new Battlestar Galactica and liked what I saw. Will try to watch more.
Guilty pleasere: The Surreal Life...the opposite end of the spectrum from The Amazing Race, it is has-been celebs doing a "Real World" kind of gig. But it is refreshing this season to see Peter Brady be the object of desire of a young supermodel...always thought he got Greg's leftovers...
I'd like to be watching more Discovery Channel, NGC, Sundance, Bravo, etc, but Barney and the Wiggles get more airplay...
