......but I do have my Wyred4Sound ......ST250 amp.......FOR SALE

ASK RICK CULLEN HIS PREFERENCE OF AMPS FOR 2 CH STEREO. IT'S THE ONLY UNMODIFIED OF HIS ICEAMPS, lowest noise floor, more focused and analog sounding than the larger powered siblings. I've always enjoyed this amp in my primary system

Is this the full SE version with Kimber TCSS wire (I assume that's the "wire upgrade" you mention) and W4S low esr caps? Where is this located?

I was early adoptee and long time Cullen fan. With tube rear, Rick advised wire change, no caps. You can put(Rick charges a big 50 bucks for this) any cap in there you choose to theorize over...Duelands anyone ? This pre is killer in standard config.... Zip 49670

I own a STP and a STP-SE, the sonic differences between the two are very small.  $1,100 for 98% of the $2,000 STP-SE is a steal.

Agreed....thanks Face....I have the ST 250 ice module also available for a pair price of $1750. I have lots of tube gear outstanding behind the STP as well...my audio friends love both combos and have BIG $$ devices. The Cullen W4S products are brilliant and a mainstay in my primary chain
