I've been angling for high-quality consumer-level TT's for a couple years now, and, for $100, I've hit a wall of sorts. I have a Dual 1225 ($50), a Philips GA-302 ($75), an ARXA ($100), and now, after a new belt and dustcover, I'll have a Thorens ($100 before belt and cover) to add to the stable. I could hear the quality of the Pickering cart, and when the belt gets replaced I'll be spinning properly. When a dustcover is sourced I'll be into vinyl more than ever, and raiding the dollar racks with a vengeance. Short of a DAC for computer files and proper sorting of the Thorens, I'll be set. The other tables are very close to mint and when I have the Thorens together I'll be jumping up and down! Finally!
