DACs that according to their manufacturer handle 24 bit/192kHz via USB input:

This is a nice list, and I'm sure Michael would appreciate additions.  If so, list them here, too.  Or I can be the clearinghouse to him.

Another good list would be USB-SPDIF converters that support 24/192

He has my go-to, the Antelope (mine, the Gold, goes to 24/384k)  and also my newest addition, the Mytek Stereo192-DSD pre version.  I'm doing wonderful native DSD with it.   :thumb:  (A separate thread will be forthcoming).

The Musiland 01, 02 , 03 and probably another, in their various functionalities. Decent SQ for the price, though not top tier.

I've edited this thread down to the pertinent posts.  Let's stay on topic.  Only DACs that do 24/192k via their USB inputs.  I'm sure there are new ones that Michael Lavorgna missed.

The list is updated, 1-4-2012.

With 24/192 USB DACs ranging from $367 to $24,500, this is a nice list that's probably irrelevant to sound quality. IMO, especially with so many excellent and affordable interface converters, one should be much more concerned with the resolution, price and SQ of the DAC and less concerned with the particular DAC input.

The list is missing the USB cousin to my Citypulse DA7.2xII, the $485 Citypulse DA2.03eII.  I am really quite taken with the sound of my Citypulse DAC.  I am awaiting a Musiland 01 USD to covert USB to S/PDIF. (I wanted balanced analog outputs.)

Agreed, and as I posted a few posts up I would like to see a good comprehensive 24/192 SPDIF converter list too.  But the price must be added to the total solution and compared to same price-league all-in-one DAC.

The Benchmark DAC1 USB is missing too. Compared to most of the others on the list, it's a bargain $1,295!

Nope, the list is for DACs that can do 24/192 speciifically from USB, not USB DACs that do 24/192 (maybe from another input).  The B-mark only does 24/96 via USB.

No noise.  :)  The noise is Benchmark's marketing dept, frankly.  Somewhat disingenuous positioning.

The Redwine Isabellina  doesn't do 24/194 USB only Toslink and I believe BNC.

I was going to mention the Burson DA-160, but it only supports up to 24bit @ 96Khz via usb.  :|

Missing from the list :

exaSound e20 (CAD$2499) [PCM384, DSD128]

http://www.exasound.com/e20DAC/e20DACOverview.aspx

I also think it is a mistake to exclude DAC's just because their company already have a cheaper product capable of at least 192K over USB.  There are relatively so few 192K+ USB DAC's that if this list is to be an effective resource all products should be listed.  The more expensive product is usually better and often more worthwhile. We are also excluding so few entrants that it makes no sense to leave just those few out.

I would also highlight those DAC's that are capable of supporting higher PCM speeds and also those DSD capable along with their highest supported DSD speed. There are again so few DSD DAC's and so few 384K PCM DAC's that it would not take much effort to put beside those DAC's in brackets [PCM384, DSD128] or just [DSD64] for a 192K DAC only capable of DSD64.

New DAC's also seem to being announced almost daily - that we need some way of keeping track of them. This list is a very good starting point - perhaps it could even translate to a Wiki page in time.

Excluded from the list:

AURALiC VEGA (Euro $3300-) [PCM384, DSD128]
