Kevin Carter and Joe Rosovitz have started a company to bring some of Kevin's more complicated designs to market.
For those of you not familiar with Kevin, he has run
K & K Audio for some time. He imports and sells Lundahl transformers and some of his designs as kits. He was also one of the designers for Art Audio. The Vinyl One is his design. He had more than a little bit to do with VAC before they move from NC.
The Florence is a descendant from the Renaissance series of amps made by VAC. Currently it is using 6550s for outputs. Rumors have a KT-120 version floating around. It is all transformer coupled.
Personally, I LOVE the looks of this amp. If you are real nice, Kevin may be willing to to share the schematic. I can say that the iron ALONE used in this amps COSTS over $4k.
