That's a "small" transformer for the HF amp project, rated at 1KW RMS. Would have liked a 2-3KW model. It will do for now. You can see how big it is relative to a NS-15. But...2800 volts D.C. should give her some KICK! The amp section is separate and uses three 813's. I got it as a poorly designed home brew job and will be working on it during days off, etc...
Something you should know about: BEWARE of component prices! I ordered four 10KV, 750ma rectifiers for this. They cost a whopping $3.50 each! A well known amplifier parts company wants $49.00 each for the exact same thing. This can happen in the world of audio as well.
